Go Straight to the Source for Pain Relief with Localized Spot Cryotherapy

Similar to whole-body Cryotherapy, Localized Cryotherapy is able to target certain areas of concern on your body. During a four-to-six-minute localized cryotherapy treatment, depending on size of the area being treated, a technician uses a wand that pumps out a cryogenic vapor to the targeted area of concern. Localized Cryotherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses cryogenic temperatures to induce anti-inflammatory responses like those induced in whole-body cryotherapy.

Localized Cryotherapy treatments are quick and focused, allowing you to receive the pain relief benefits you need quickly. Your skin temperature will drop quickly without discomfort, as our technicians will closely monitor the skin’s temperature and reaction to the treatment. Localized cryotherapy flushes the tissue of fluid quickly in order to improve your range of motion, making this the perfect option for those with injuries.

Skin Tightening
Localized Cryotherapy

Localized cryotherapy for skin tightening is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves applying extremely cold temperatures to targeted areas of the skin. Here’s how it generally works: the device, is applied directly to the specific area of the skin where tightening is desired. This device emits cold temperatures typically ranging from -4°C to -10°C (around 25°F to 14°F). The extreme cold causes vasoconstriction, which means the blood vessels in the skin contract. This reduces blood flow temporarily to the area. The low temperature also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. Collagen and elastin are proteins that are essential for skin structure and elasticity. When exposed to cold temperatures, the body reacts by increasing the production of these proteins. Collagen helps to firm and tighten the skin, while elastin provides elasticity and resilience. In addition to tightening the skin, localized cryotherapy can also target fat cells in the treated area. The cold temperature can cause fat cells to crystallize and eventually be eliminated from the body through natural metabolic processes.

Typically, a session of localized cryotherapy for skin tightening lasts about 30 minutes per area treated. The number of sessions required varies depending on the individual's goals and the condition of their skin. Some people may see results after just one session, but multiple sessions spaced over several weeks are often recommended for optimal results.Localized cryotherapy for skin tightening is often used on areas such as the face, neck, arms, abdomen, and thighs to improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and contour the body. It provides a non-surgical alternative to traditional methods of skin tightening with minimal discomfort and downtime.
