Whole body cryotherapy is also known as WBC, which is a form of treatment that uses extremely cold conditions to trigger a physiological response from the body. It consists of briefly exposing the body to the extremely cold air. Whole body cryotherapy (WBC) involves standing or sitting in a cryo chamber for a few minutes.

During a 2-3 minute session at cryogenic temperatures, the blood vessels in your skin's surface and muscle tissue constrict, thus forcing the blood away from your peripheral tissues and towards your core. In the core, the body's natural filtration system works to remove toxins and inflammatory properties in the blood.
After exiting the cryo chamber, your blood flows back to your peripheral tissues. Now enriched with oxygen, nutrients, and enzymes, your blood warms the skin and muscle tissues as well as increases your range of motion.
